Contamination Observation: Lake George Rock the Dock

We often imagine realities replacing one another. Childhood gives way to adulthood. Friendships become endings. Concerts become memories. Standing on Prospect Mountain overlooking Lake George, it became impossible to believe that. The cabin from years ago, the pho restaurant, a quiet conversation with a young musician, steamships, Dark Star Orchestra, the slow fading of a friendship, and the father following his daughter from basketball tournament to basketball tournament all seemed to occupy the same landscape. Perhaps realities don't disappear. Perhaps they simply overlap, waiting for us to notice the spaces between them.
